We are pleased to announce that Milton Keynes Council has approved the decision to transfer the last two remaining council-run day nurseries, in Fullers Slade and Netherfield over to us.

Our CEO Zoe Raven commented “We are very excited at the prospect of safeguarding the future of these two nurseries, for the benefit of children and families in the local communities and to safeguard the employment of the staff teams.” We already have nine other nurseries in Milton Keynes, including two, at Kents Hill and Westcroft, that also transferred to us from the council in 2012, and which have since flourished. We believe that having a cluster of nurseries in the local area provides an infrastructure that can support the nurseries to become financially sustainable. We would like to reassure residents and families that as a charity we are keen to increase our social impact, and will ensure that fully-funded places for eligible 2, 3 and 4 year olds will be continued, and that our new investment will enhance and develop the existing provision.

The transfer won’t happen until the end of March 2022, but if anyone has any questions or concerns about our plans please feel free to contact us on [email protected] . We will also be holding open meetings with staff and families over the next few months.
