We were delighted to host a visit from the board of Childcare International this month.

Childcare International are a Dutch organisation that aims to facilitate and support the international exchange of knowledge and experience in early years provision. The organisation first visited Acorn in January 2024, and then brought a group in May to see our nurseries and forest school provision. They also invited our CEO Zoe Raven and Head of Early Years & Compliance, Laura Tingey to visit Holland and deliver a talk on Acorn’s outdoor ethos, as well to see an example of their eco-kindergarten and outdoor after-school club. It was a real pleasure to welcome Childcare International back again with us!

This time we hosted 20 delegates, breaking down into smaller groups that visited five of our nurseries and one of our outdoor learning centres. Childcare International shared:

It was great to share ideas and inspiration with our colleagues, especially our international ones as there is so much information sharing and learning to be had from each other.
