Our bushcraft or team-building sessions for secondary schools and colleges are designed to develop teamwork and other important life skills for children aged 11-18. Our sessions are planned according to the individual needs of each group, and we work closely with teaching staff when planning the sessions. 


Who?

  • Any school/college age group, from 11-18
  • Intervention groups for children with additional learning needs 
  • Up to 16 students per session

What?

Two forest school / bushcraft leaders will work closely with your teaching staff to ensure that every session is planned according to the individual needs of the group. Some of the activities that could be included are:

  • Survival challenge - which includes building a shelter and fire using natural resources, collecting and filtering water, among other things
  • Den building and bridge building challenges
  • Cooking challenges on a campfire
  • Team-focused obstacle course
  • Orienteering
  • Among others

When?

  • Term-time
  • Week days
  • School hours (9am - 3pm)

How Much?

  • From £160 for a two hour session, plus £40 for every additional hour (maximum of 16 children)
  • Minibus is available for up to 14 children at a cost of £20 plus 50p per mile
