Let the adventure begin this February half term! Our Forest School Holiday Clubs at Emberton and Cold Harbour are officially OPEN for bookings, and we can’t wait to welcome your young explorers back into the woods. These sessions are the perfect chance for children to break free from the usual indoor routines and immerse themselves in fresh air, muddy play, and the kind of outdoor freedom that sparks imagination and joy. From woodland crafts and campfire cooking to den building, nature exploration, and child‑led adventures, every day is filled with opportunities to discover, create, and learn in the most magical of classrooms...the great outdoors.

Although we won’t be running our Salcey Forest club this February, our other two sites offer acres of space for children to roam, climb, build, and let their imaginations run wild. Both Emberton and Cold Harbour provide beautiful, natural environments where children can connect with nature in meaningful ways, try new challenges, and enjoy unhurried time outdoors that’s so rare in busy day‑to‑day life. These settings are carefully chosen to give children room to explore safely while experiencing the beauty and unpredictability of real woodland adventure.

Our Forest School sessions go far beyond simply keeping children entertained for the day. They’re 

designed to nurture confidence, resilience, creativity, and teamwork through hands‑on outdoor experiences. Whether they’re lighting a campfire, whittling sticks, creating natural art, climbing 

fallen logs, or working together to build the perfect den, children develop invaluable life skills that extend far beyond the holiday break. They’ll form new friendships, learn to navigate challenges, and gain a deeper appreciation for the natural world all while having an incredible amount of fun. Muddy hands, rosy cheeks, and big smiles are all part of the experience, and every child leaves with a sense of accomplishment and memories they’ll treasure.

This is not your standard holiday club. Forest School offers something uniquely special. A chance for children to take the lead in their learning, follow their curiosity, and enjoy the freedom to explore at their own pace. Being outdoors encourages children to take healthy risks, work together,

 problem‑solve creatively, and experience a kind of open‑ended play that’s impossible to replicate indoors. Every session is an adventure, shaped by the weather, the environment, and the children themselves, making each day as exciting and unpredictable as nature intends.

During February half term, both clubs will be open from 8.30am to 3pm, with each session priced at £34 per child. With spaces now available, we encourage families to secure their spot early. These sessions fill quickly thanks to their popularity and the unforgettable experiences they offer.
